Meg Bennett, Julia Duffy, Tonja Walker to Guest Star in You’ve Got Hate Mail

Meg Bennett, Julia Duffy, and Tonja Walker will guest star during August in You’ve Got Hate Mail, a comedy written by Billy Van Zandt & Jane Milmore, at the Triad Theatre. Gary Shaffer has directed the production.

The play concerns an extra-marital affair that goes horribly wrong, thanks to a juicy e-mail left sitting on a desktop. The story is told entirely in e-mails from laptop computers. In addition to Van Zandt, the cast features Glenn Jones, Barbara Bonilla and Fran Solgan.

Walker, who will appear on August 5, is best known for playing Alex Olanov on ABC’s One Life to Live. Bennett, who will appear on August 12 appeared on Broadway in Grease and has played Allegra on ABC’s General Hospital.

Duffy, who will appear on August 19 and 26, received several Emmy Award nominations for her work in Newhart and is also known for her television appearances in Designing Women and other programs. She appeared on Broadway in Once in a Lifetime, and has also done stage work regionally.
