Linda Ronstadt to Write Autobiography

Grammy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Linda Ronstadt will write her autobiography, Heart Like a Wheel, to be published by Simon & Schuster in 2013.


Ronstadt starred on Broadway in the 1981production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance, for which she received a Tony Award nomination. She also starred in the film version.


She returned to Broadway in 1988 in the revue, Canciones de mi Padre and won an Emmy Award for the same show when it was broadcast on PBS’ Great Performances.


Rondstadt has recorded numerous hit albums, including Heart Like A Wheel, Get Closer, Lush Life, For Sentimental Reasons, and What’s New, and her many hit singles included “You’re No Good,” “Desperado,” “Blue Bayou,” and “When Will I Be Loved.”
