Broadway’s Master Class Extends Through September 4

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced another extension for he Broadway revival of Terrence McNally’s Master Class, which will now close on September 4. The production is directed by Stephen Wadsworth.
In the play, Maria Callas takes us to one of her famous master classes where, late in her own career, she challenges the next generation to make the same sacrifices and dare to rise to the same heights she did.
The production features Sierra Boggess (Sharon Graham), Clinton Brandhagen (Stagehand), Jeremy Cohen (Emmanuel Weinstock), Tyne Daly (Maria Callas), Alexandra Silber (Sophie De Palma), and Garrett Sorenson (Anthony Candolino).
The creative team includes Thomas Lynch (scenic design), Martin Pakledinaz (costume design), David Lander (lighting design), and Jon Gottlieb (sound design).
