Prime Suspect: The Complete Collection, Starring Helen Mirren, to Get September DVD Release

Prime Suspect: The Complete Collection, featuring Oscar winner, Emmy Award winner and theater veteran Helen Mirren as Detective Jane Tennison, will be released on DVD by Acorn Media on September 7.

The set includes nine feature-length mysteries, which were broadcast on PBS over a 15-year period, as well as a 50-minute behind-the-scenes special about the acclaimed detective series. In total, the series earned 20 major international awards, including seven Emmys, eight BAFTAs, and a Peabody.

Among the series’ many guest stars are Ralph Fiennes, Zoe Wanamaker, Tom Wilkinson, David Thewlis, Ben Miles, and Lesley Sharp.
