George Demas, Laurie Kilmartin, Jim Sterling, et al. Set for Axis Theatre’s Down There

Axis Theatre Company has announced casting for Randy Sharp’s Down There, to run September 9 – October 30. Sharp will direct her script.

The piece draws its inspiration from the true-life story of 16-year-old Sylvia Likens, who was tortured and killed in the Indiana home of Gertrude Baniszewski in 1965. The company will feature Laurie Kilmartin (Pat Menckl), Jim Sterling (Frank Menckl), George Demas (Jimmy), Britt Genelin (Paula), David Crabb (Rickie), Brian Barnhart (John), Regina Betancourt (Joyce), and Lynn Mancinelli (Casey).

The creative team will include David Zeffren (lighting design), Steve Fontaine (sound design) and Elisa Santiago (costume design).
