Clay Aiken: Tried and True to Air on PBS; Linda Eder, Ruben Studdard Guest Star

Clay Aiken: Tried and True, a concert based on the singer’s new CD, will air during July and August on PBS. The show will also feature guest appearances by Ruben Studdard and Linda Eder.

The 13-track disc, which was released on June 1 by Decca, features such classics as “Mack the Knife,” “Moon River,” “Who’s Sorry Now,” “Unchained Melody,” “Misty,” and “It’s Only Make Believe.”

Aiken was seen on Broadway in Monty Python’s Spamalot, playing the role of Sir Robin. He came to fame on FOX-TV reality series American Idol, and he has released numerous albums, including A Thousand Different Ways and Measure of a Man and co-authored a best-selling book Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life.
