Jason Robinson, Kathryn Markey, Steve Pacek, and Christina Bianco will join director and host Sean Hartley for Merkin Concert Hall’s Broadway Playhouse Series, which introduces children ages 4-11 to classic musicals through captivating medleys, rousing sing-alongs, lively games in which audience members participate, and mini-musicals.

The series will celebrate the music of Rodgers & Hammerstein (Sunday, January 9 at 11am); Andrew Lloyd Webber (Sunday, February 13 at 11am); and Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt (Sunday, March 6 at 11am).

In addition, Merkin Concert Hall will also host the Musical Adventures with the Poppy Seed Players Series, in which the troupe performs musical plays for children about the Jewish heritage. They’re joined by the Kaufman Kids, a troupe of young performers from Kaufman Center’s Lucy Moses School and Special Music School. The Poppy Seed Players include Jason Robinson, Kathryn Markey, Stephen Brennan, Christina Bianco, Jonathan Todd Ross, and Leslie Blumenthal.

These concerts will include Latkes & Applesauce (Sunday, December 5 at 11 am), A Poppy Seed Purim (Sunday, March 20, at 11am), and Shlemiel Crooks (Sunday, April 10, at 11am).
