Alice Ripley to Perform Solo Concerts at BACKSTAGE dopo teatro

Tony Award winner Alice Ripley will perform two solo concerts entitled Daily Practice with Alice Ripley at BACKSTAGE dopo teatro (125 West 44th street), on Saturday, July 31 at 9:30pm and Saturday, August 28 at 11pm.
The intimate solo concert will feature an eclectic mix of well known songs, as well as a few original compositions.
Ripley won the 2009 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in Next to Normal. She will play her final performance in the Broadway production on Sunday, July 18 and will then reprise her role in the musical’s entire 36-week multi-city North American tour, launching November 23 in in Los Angeles.
The actress was also Tony-nominated for Side Show, with other Main Stem credits including The Rocky Horror Show, James Joyce’s The Dead, Sunset Boulevard, The Who’s Tommy, and Les Misérables.
