Susan Sarandon and John Goodman have joined the cast of the upcoming HBO film You Don’t Know Jack about the life of assisted-suicide doctor Jack Kevorkian, according to The Associated Press. They will be joining Al Pacino whose casting as Kevorkian was previously announced.

Sarandon has been cast as Janet Good, a staunch right-to-die activist and a supporter of Kevorkian, who eventually enlisted the doctor’s services when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She recently appeared in the Broadway play Exit the King, and won the Academy Award for Dead Man Walking.

Goodman, who co-starred in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Waiting for Godot, will appear as Neal Nicol, Kevorkian’s longtime friend and coworker, who also wrote his biography titled Between the Dying and the Dead.
