Off-Broadway Our Town Extends Through January 31

The Off-Broadway production of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, at the Barrow Street Theatre, has announced an extension through January 31, 2010.

David Cromer directs, and stars as the Stage Manager. The current cast also features Jeremy Beiler as Sam Craig, Rob Beitzel as Howie Newsome, Kati Brazda as Mrs. Webb, George Demas as Constable Warren, Donna Jay Fulks as Mrs. Soames, Jennifer Grace as Emily, Wilbur Edwin Henry as Professor Willard, Adam Hinkle as Joe Crowell, Jake Horowitz as Wally Webb, Ronete Levenson as Rebecca Gibbs, Ken Marks as Editor Webb, Jonathan Mastro as Simon Stimson, James McMenamin as George, Mark L. Montgomery as Doc Gibbs, Lori Myers as Mrs. Gibbs, Jay Russell as Joe Stoddard, and Jason Yachanin as Si Crowell.

Cromer received an Obie Award for his direction of Our Town, and this production was also awarded 2009 Lucille Lortels for Outstanding Play Revival and Direction. Cromer will make his Broadway directing debut this fall with Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs and Broadway Bound.
