Next month (date to be determined), PBS will broadcast Pete Seeger's 90th Birthday Concert, which will feature such guest artists as Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Joan Baez, Arlo Guthrie, Kris Kristofferson, Emmylou Harris, and Dave Matthews.

Other upcoming broadcasts include the documentary Herbert von Karajan: Beauty As I See It (August 31); the Vienna Philarmonic's Summer Concert (September 16); the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Opening Gala (October 21); the Metropolitan Opera's new production of Tosca with Karita Mattila in the title role (December 16); a film adaptation of La Boheme starring Anna Netrebko and Rolando Villazon (December 23); and the annual New Year's Celebration with the Vienna Philharmonic, to be hosted by Julie Andrews (January 1).
