Bye Bye Birdie stars John Stamos and Gina Gershon (in photo) joined composer Charles Strouse, director Richard Longbottom, lyricist Lee Adams, and others on Tuesday, July 28 at the Roundabout Theater Company’s recently completed Henry Miller’s Theatre on West 43rd Street, which will house the revival of the musical beginning in September. The show, which also stars Bill Irwin and Jayne Houdyshell, is now in rehearsals.

The green ribbon signifies the environmental commitment of the LEED-Gold rated 1,055-seat house, which is inside the new 55-story Bank of America Tower. This certification, the highest of the US Green Building Council’s LEED certifications, requires specific choices in building materials and design to reduce the buildings environmental impact while creating the best possible indoor environmental quality for theater patrons and staff.
