Hair Cast, Ang Lee, Chita Rivera, Richard Seff, Set for Barnes & Noble/Lincoln Triangle

Barnes & Noble/Lincoln Triangle has announced August events to take place at its store at 1972 Broadway at 66th Street. Highlights include Richard Seff reading from his memoir Supporting Player, featuring a guest appearance by Chita Rivera (August 6 at 7:30 pm); director Ang Lee and screenwriter James Schamus discussing their new film, Taking Woodstock (August 11); and cast members from the Broadway musical Hair in a performance celebrating the show’s cast recording release (August 20 at 5 pm).

Barnes & Noble’s “Any Wednesday” cabaret series will include Tish Oney in her tribute to Peggy Lee (August 12) and Kate Pazakis (August 19). The store will also host appearances by Andrea Wittgens (August 4), Guilherme Monteiro (August 10), Laura Hull (August 17), Elizabeth Bettina (August 17), Dr. Ken Kutscher reflecting on Walter Cronkite (August 18), David Farley (August 19), a Latino Artists Round Table (August 21), Marlene Ver Planck (August 24), authors Charles Ardai, Anna DeStefano, Leanna Renee Hieber, Jack Ketchum (August 25), and Barrie Brett (August 26).
