The Hip-Hop dance troupe The Groovaloos will perform at the Joyce Theater in their original show, Groovaloo, to be presented September 15-27. The production is created by Bradley Rapier and veteran Broadway performer Danny Cistone, and directed by Cistone.

The piece features a 14-member cast, and is based on the dancers’ own experiences. It will combine displays of physicality, a musical score, and spoken word poetry.

The creative team will include Charlie Morrison (lighting), Lucas Corrubia (sound), and Steven Stanton and Bradley Rapier (musical supervision).
