Wendell Pierce, Francois Battiste, Alano Miller, and Crystal A. Dickinson will star in Lincoln Center Theater’s production of Nathan Louis Jackson’s Broke-ology, to begin performances at the Mitzi Newhouse Theatre on September 10, with an official opening on October 5. The production will be directed by Thomas Kail, who helmed the show’s 2008 premiere at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

The play is about two brothers (Battiste and Miller) who return home to care for their father (Pierce).

The show will feature sets by Donyale Werle, costumes by Emily Rebholz, lighting by Jason Lyons, and sound by Jill BC DuBoff. Kail is currently represented on Broadway by In the Heights and recently directed the City Center Encores! production of The Wiz.
