Fame DVD With Debbie Allen to Be Released on September 15

MGM Home Entertainment will release all 38 episodes of the first two seasons of the TV series Fame on September 15. The show, which launched in 1982, focused on life at New York City’s School for the Arts, and was based on the 1980 film of the same name.
Fame starred Debbie Allen, Albert Hague, Gene Anthony Ray, Carlo Imperato, Carol Mayo Jenkins, Valerie Landsburg, Erica Gimpel, and Lori Singer.
A new film version of Fame, in which Allen will also appear, will be released on September 25.
