Billy Crudup Joins Julia Roberts in Eat, Pray, Love

Billy Crudup, last seen on Broadway in The Coast of Utopia, has joined the cast of the movie Eat, Pray, Love, according to a report in Variety. This adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert’s bestselling memoir stars Julia Roberts, Javier Bardem and Richard Jenkins.

Crudup will play the man married to Roberts’ character. His hopes to have children are dashed when her efforts to get pregnant leaves her feeling she is not living the life she wants. Ryan Murphy is directing a script he wrote with Jennifer Salt.
