Becca Ayers, Daniel Beaty, Sebastian LaCause, Kecia Lewis-Evans et al. Set for York Readings

Daniel Beaty, Kecia Lewis-Evans, and Tom Frey will star in the developmental reading of Beaty’s Breath and Imagination, at 7:30pm on July 16. Joe Brancato will direct this play about renowned African-American classical vocalist Roland Hayes. William Foster McDaniel will serve as accompanist and music arranger.
As previously announced, Becca Ayers, Michael Halling, Sebastian LaCause, and Vanessa Lemonides will star in the York Theatre Company’s developmental reading of Reyn Guyer and Jeff Harrington’s musical drama Spirits at 3pm on July 14. In the show, six people are drawn together one night to try and break a cycle of violence and revenge.
