Autumn Hurlbert, Anika Larsen, Don Stephenson, et al. Set for York’s Exit Music Reading

Laura Marie Duncan, Autumn Hurlbert, Anika Larsen, David Larsen, Rob Richardson, Laura Shoop, and Don Stephenson will be featured in the York Theatre Company’s developmental reading of Exit Music, to be presented July 23 at 3 pm.

Based on the short story, “Me and the Girls” by Noël Coward, the piece features music by James Merillat, lyrics by Dick Pasqual, and a book by Dick Pasqual and James Merillat. Set in the years before World War II, it involves a fictional song-and-dance troupe, “George Banks and the Bombshells,” who toured throughout Western Europe. George reflects upon his time with the group and with his one long-term male lover while staying at a hospice in the Alps.
