Jamie Campbell-Bower, who played Antony in the film version of Sweeney Todd, will join Tony Award winner Ian McKellen in a remake of the 1960s TV series The Prisoner, to air as a six-part miniseries on AMC in 2009, according to TVGuide.com.

The site also reports that the show will star Jim Caviezel, Ruth Wilson, Lennie James, and Hayley Atwell (who is currently starring in the big-screen remake of Brideshead Revisited).

McKellen won the Tony Award for Amadeus and received a Tony nomination for Acting Shakespeare. His many other stage credits include Wild Honey, Dance of Death, King Lear, and The Seagull. In addition, McKellen is a two-time Academy Award nominee for The Lord of the Rings and Gods and Monsters.
