P.S. 122 Announces Fall 2008 Season

Performance Space 122 has announced its fall 2008 schedule, which will open with the world premiere of Thomas Bradshaw’s play, Southern Promises, September 6-September 27, in the Downstairs Theater. The world premiere of The Passion Project by Reid Farrington will follow, September 10-September 20, in the Upstairs Theater. Verdensteatret will have the New York premiere of their multimedia piece, Louder, in the Upstairs Theater, September 25-28. Next up, Rachid Ouramdane, Pascal Rambert and Kate Moran will present their double bill dance production, Diptyque: A Standing Boy and With My Own Hands, October 3-4, with A Standing Boy in the Upstairs Theater at 7:30pm, and With My Own Hands in the Downstairs Theater at 9pm.

WaxFactory returns to New York for the world premiere of Blind.Ness, October 12-November 1, in the Upstairs Theater. Amy Caron’s Waves of Mu will have its New York premiere in the Downstairs Theater and P.S 122 Gallery, October 10-October 19, and Jo Strømgren Kompani will present the New York premiere of The Society off-site at the Abrons Arts Center, October 15-October 19. Sara Juli will present Death in the Downstairs Theater, October 24-November 2; Goat Island will present their final Performance work, The Lastmaker in the Upstairs Theater, November 6-November 16; and Joseph Silovsky will premiere Jester of Tonga in the Downstairs Theater, November 13-November 23.

The Debate Society will present Cape Disappointment in the Upstairs Theater, November 22-December 7; Lewis Forever will star in Lewis Forever: Freak the Room in the Downstairs Theater, December 2-December 14; the U.S. premiere of Edit Kaldor’s Point Blank will open at the Upstairs Theater, December 11-14; and Meow Meow will present The Love Show, a cabaret in the Upstairs Theater in December.
