Kerry Ellis Releases Wicked Recording

Award-winning British actress Kerry Ellis, who stars as Elphaba in the Broadway production of Wicked, has recorded two of the show’s songs, “Defying Gravity” and “I’m Not That Girl” in rock arrangements by Queen’s Brian May. The songs are available via iTunes and on a CD/EP for sale at the Gershwin Theatre and London’s Dress Circle.

Ellis previously starred as Elphaba in the London production of <>Wicked and most recently appeared in the Royal Albert Hall concert of Chess with Josh Groban, Idina Menzel, and Adam Pascal. Her other stage credits include Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, and Merrily We Roll Along.
