John Ventimiglia to Join Cast of Stitching, Which Extends Through August 2

John Ventimiglia will join the cast of Anthony Neilson’s Stitching, beginning July 23. The play, directed by Timothy Haskell, is currently palying The Wild Project, and has announced an extension through August 2.

The play follows the increasingly disturbing and inventive games that a couple plays in order to connect. Meital Dohan co-stars.

Ventimiglia takes over the role of “Stu,” which is being played by Gian-Murray Gianino through July 19. Ventimiglia is best known as “Artie Bucco” on the HBO television series The Sopranos. Film credits Cop Land, Mickey Blue Eyes and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead.

Neilson’s plays include The Menu, Welfare My Lovely, Normal, Penetrator, The Years of the Family, Heredity, and The Censor, which won the Writers Guild Award for Best Fringe Play 1997.
