Dacal, de Jesus, Gomez, et al. Set for Reading of Hudes’ Yemaya’s Belly

R.Evolución Latina is presenting a benefit reading of Yemaya’s Belly, a new play from Tony Award nominee Quiara Alegria Hudes, to be directed by Luis Salgado and Michael Balderrama, at 7pm on Monday, July 21 at Repertorio Español. The reading is a fundraising event to help provide a free arts summer camp during the month of August for underprivileged children.

The reading will feature members of the Broadway musical In the Heights, for which Hudes wrote the book: Robin De Jesus, Eliseo Román, Tony Chiroldes, Janet Dacal, Doreen Montalvo and special guest, Carlos Gómez with Gabriela García.
