Jonathan Pryce and Aidan Gillen to Star in London Glengarry Glen Ross

Jonathan Pryce and Aidan Gillen will star in the West End revival of David Mamet’s real-estate drama Glengarry Glen Ross, which will begin previews on September 27 at the Apollo Theatre. The production, which will open officially on October 10, will be directed by James MacDonald; the creative team will feature Anthony Ward (sets and costumes) and Howard Harrison (lighting). Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Pryce, who will play Shelley Levene, received the Tony Award for his performances in Comedians and Miss Saigon, and was most recently seen on Broadway in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. His numerous London stage credits include My Fair Lady, Oliver, Hamlet, The Goat, and Nine. His film credits include Evita, De-Lovely, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Gillen, who will play Richard Roma, received a Tony Award nomination for his performance as Mick in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of Harold Pinter’s The Caretaker. His other stage credits include The Tempest, Playboy of the Western World, and Mojo.
