Butler, Denman, Powers, Tucker, et al. Set for Reprise’s On Your Toes

Dan Butler, Jeffry Denman, Stefanie Powers, and Yvette Tucker will headline the Reprise! Broadway Best production of On Your Toes, to play August 14-26 at the UCLA Freud Playhouse. The production will be directed by Lee Martino, with choreography by Dan Mojica and musical direction by Gerald Sternbach.

The show, written by Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart, and George Abbott, focuses on a music teacher who gets involved with a prima ballerina, angering her lover. The show’s score includes “Glad to be Unhappy” and the classic “Slaughter on Tentrh Avenue” ballet.

The cast will also feature Beth Malone, Brett Ryback, Jonathan Sharp, and Diane Vincent. The ensemble will include Shell Bauman, Seth Belliston, Quintan Craig, Jennie Ford, Casey Garritano, Jeff Griggs, Chelsea Hackett, Joey T. Marshall, Melissa Paris, Aaron Pomeroy, Mark C. Reis, Katie Rooney, Jean Michelle Sayeg, Leslie Stevens, John Todd, and Scott Weber. The design team will include Brett Banakis (sets and lights) and Phillip G. Allen (sound).
