Bundy, Hoff, McDonald, Michele, et al. to Appear at Broadway Barks 9!

Audra McDonald, Christine Ebersole, Mary Louis Wilson, Lea Michele, Marin Mazzie, Christian Hoff, Edward Hibbert, Mary Testa, Charlote D’Amboise, and Laura Bell Bundy (along with her canine co-stars from Legally Blonde) have been added to the list of celebrity presenters at Broadway Barks 9!, which will take place from 3:30pm to 6:30pm on Saturday, July 14 in Shubert Alley. (In the event of rain, it will be rescheduled for Saturday, July 28 at the same time.)

This star-studded dog and cat adopt-a-thon benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and sponsored by the ASPCA, will once again be hosted by Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters.

The celebrity presentations will take place from 5:30pm-6:30pm. As previously announced, this year’s celebrity presenters will also include Angela Lansbury, Harry Hamlin, Lisa Rinna, David Hyde Pierce, Jason Danieley, Michael McCormick, Debra Monk, Karen Ziemba, Jerry Mathers, Paul Vogt, Priscilla Lopez, Mandy Gonzalez, Cheyenne Jackson, Kerry Butler, Michael Cerveris, JoAnne Worley, John Glover, Beth Leavel, Gerry Vichi, Patrick Wetzel, Ashley Brown, Jane Carr, Daniel Jenkins, Gavin Lee, John McMartin, Maureen Moore, Michael Beresse, Judy McLane, Xanthe Elbrick, John Earl Jelks, Michael Mulheren, J. Robert Spencer, John Lloyd Young, Orfeh, Andy Karl, Jonathan Hadary, David Hibbard, Martin Moran, Sebastian Arcelus, Jayne Houdyshell, Kendra Kassebaum, and Stephanie J. Block.

The event will feature a sampling of potential pets from several New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies, and representatives from these organizations will be on hand to offer educational information on spaying and neutering. There will also be an auction of celebrity-autographed memorabilia.
