Roberta Maxwell, Julia Gibson, and Molly Ward will star in the Origin Theatre Company's production of Thomas Kilroy's The Shape of Metal, September 8-30 at 59 E 59 Theaters. The production, which will open officially on September 12, will be directed by Brian Murray.

The show focuses on Nell Jeffrey, a world-renowned sculptor, and her daughter, Judith, who struggle to come to terms with the disappearance of Judith's elder sister, Grace, 30 years earlier. Kilroy is one of Ireland's most distinguished playwrights and novelists.

Maxwell's stage credits include The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Equus, Hay Fever, Slag, Our Town, Ashes, The Carpetbagger's Children, The Persians, and Richard III. She is the winner of the Obie and Drama Desk Awards.

Murray, an award-winning actor, has directed extensively on Broadway, including productions of Hay Fever, Blithe Spirit, Arsenic and Old Lace, The Waltz of the Toreadors, and The Show Off.
