Beaty, Moore, et al. Set for Crossroads Theatre’s 2007-2008 Season

The Crossroads Theatre Company in New Brunswick, New Jersey has announced the line-up for its 2007-2008 season.

It will kick off with Melba Moore: Sweet Songs of the Soul, September 28-October 7, an autobiographical musical production written and performed by the Tony Award-winning star of Purlie. Next up will be Daniel Beaty’s acclaimed multi-character solo show Emergence-See!, November 28-December 9. (For a review of Emergence-See, please click here.)

In March 2008, the company will present the world premiere of Michael Thomas Murray’s musical Great Googley Moo, about a racially integrated 1950s doo-wop group, and the annual Genesis Festival of New Voices, to run May 1-4.
