Kathy Brier to Perform Selections from New CD Heartbreaker at the Triad

Former Hairspray leading lady Kathy Brier will perform selections from her new CD, Heartbreaker at a special concert at 9:30pm on August 19 at the Triad (158 West 72nd Street). The CD features original rock n’ roll songs.

In addition to starring as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, Brier’s New York stage credits include Bat Boy: The Musical, A Broadway Diva Christmas, and the Actors’ Fund Benefit Concert of Hair. She will also appear on July 26 as part of Jamie deRoy & Friends at the Metropolitan Room. Brier is best known for her role as Marcie Walsh on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live, for which she received a Daytime Emmy nomination.
