Brian Hutchison, Keira Naughton, Susan Louise O’ Connor, and Finnerty Steeves head the cast of the Barrington Stage Company’s production of David Lindsay-Abaire’s comedy, Wonder of the World, to be presented July 20-August 5 in the Duffin Theatre at Lenox Memorial High School.

Directed by Rob Ruggiero, the show also stars Dan Cantor, Libby George, and William Bogert. The creative team includes Luke Cantarella (sets), Anne Kenney (costumes), Scott Pinkney (lights), and Vinnie Oliveri (sound).

The play, first seen at Manhattan Theatre Club, concerns Cass (played by Naughton), who leaves her husband and heads for Niagara Falls to seek a better life. In a series of misadventures, she crosses path with a variety of eccentric characters. Lindsay-Abaire’s other plays include Rabbit Hole, Fuddy Meers, and Kimberly Akimbo. He is also the librettist for the upcoming musicals High Fidelity and Shrek.

Hutchison and Naughton recently co-starred Off-Broadway in Indoor/Outdoor. O’Connor, a frequent presence on the New York stage, was last seen in Nerve. Steeves starred earlier this year in Almost, Maine Off-Broadway.
