Adam Pascal, one of the original stars of Rent, will host a free mini-concert of songs by that show’s late composer-lyricist Jonathan Larson at the Grove Town Square in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 22 at noon.

The event will feature cast members from the national tour of Rent, now playing at the Pantages Theatre, plus the cast of the L.A. production of Larson’s autobiographical musical tick…tick…BOOM!. They will perform selections from those shows. Larson’s father, Al, will also be in attendance.

Pascal received a Tony Award nomination and a Theatre World Award for his performance as Roger in Rent. He has since starred on Broadway in Cabaret and Aida. On July 28 and 29, he will give a solo concert at the Brentwood Theatre that will feature selections from his CDs Model Prisoner and Civilian.
