Find Your Grail: Spamalot Will Be Produced in Las Vegas in 2007

A special production of Monty Python’s Spamalot, the winner of this year’s Tony Award for Best Musical, will open at Wynn Las Vegas in 2007. Public performances will commence upon completion of the custom- built “Spamalot Experience and Grail Theatre.”

The Wynn, a luxury hotel and resort located on the Las Vegas Strip, opened on April 28. It will also be the home of the Las Vegas production of Avenue Q, which is set to open there on September 8.

Spamalot will begin a national tour in Boston in March 2006. The current stars of the Broadway production are Tim Curry, David Hyde Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Christian Borle, Christopher Sieber, and Sara Ramirez.
