Pageant — The Musical will offer rush tickets priced at $29.50 on the day of performances at the Davenport Theatre, producers have announced. The tickets will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis starting two hours before the show and will be limited to two tickets (cash only) per customer.

Based around a beauty pageant, the musical is written by Bill Russell and Frank Kelly, with music by Albert Evans and concept by Robert Longbottom. This new production is directed by Matt Lenz, with choreography by Shea Sullivan, music direction by Mark Hartman, costumes by Stephen Yearick, scenic design by Paul DePoo, lighting by Paul Miller, and sound by David Sanderson.

Featured in the company are Kevin Meaney, Nick Cearley, Alex Ringler, Marty Thomas, Seth Tucker, Curtis Wiley, and Nic Cory. The musical played a sold-out run earlier this year at the Red Lacquer Club at Lucky Cheng's as a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Previews began on June 29, and opening night is set for July 14. The show will run through September 1.
