NYMF Announces Full 2014 Season Lineup of Productions, Concerts, and Readings

Two dozen musicals and a host of other shows and events will take place at the July festival.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the full lineup of productions, concerts, readings, and special events for its 11th annual festival, which will run from July 7-27.

This season's productions will include Coming of Age by Jon Provan, Deployed by Jessy Brouillard, Propaganda! The Musical by Taylor Ferrara and Matt Webster, and many others. Concert performance highlights are the return of Australian Cabaret Sensations and Marc Eardley's Epic Fail: Broadway's Future Flops. There will also be readings of Louis Steven Santora's Guilin, Belinda Jenkin and William Hannagan's Housewarming, and more.

Productions will be housed at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre and the Ford Foundation Studio Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center as well as the PTC Performance Space and The Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Cafe. The NYMF Developmental Reading Series will take place at The Studio Theatre at Theatre Row.

NYMF is the largest musical theater event in America and provides an affordable platform for artists to mount professional productions that reach their peers, industry leaders, and musical theater fans. Festival shows have gone on to productions on and off-Broadway, and alumni have received a wide array of awards including the Tony Award and the Pulitzer Prize.
