Tony Award nominee Kristine Nielsen (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike) has been announced to star opposite the previously announced James Earl Jones in the upcoming Broadway revival of Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's You Can't Take It With You. The play, which will be directed by six-time Tony nominee Scott Ellis (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), will begin previews in August, with an opening planned for September 28 at the Longacre Theatre.

Producers have also announced that Tony winner Jason Robert Brown (The Bridges of Madison County) will write original music for the production. Brown recently won two Drama Desk Awards for Bridges, and he has been nominated for Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations Tony Awards.

You Can't Take It with You centers on two families: the Sycamores and the Kirbys. The worlds of the two clans collide when their children become engaged. The play originally opened at the Booth Theatre on December 14, 1936, and played for 838 performances. It won the 1937 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
