Tanya Saracho will open her new play, Mala Hierba, at Second Stage Uptown's McGinn/Cazale Theatre this July.

Second Stage Theatre has announced complete casting for the next production joining its 2014 Uptown Series, Mala Hierba, written by Tanya Saracho (HBO's Looking and Girls) and directed by Jerry Ruiz.

The cast will feature Roberta Colindrez (Fun Home), Sandra Marquez (The Motherf**er With the Hat), Marta Milans (ABC's Killer Women), and Ana Nogueira (Knives and Other Sharp Objects).

The production will feature scenic design by Raul Abrego, costumes by Carisa Kelly, lighting design by Jennifer Schriever, and sound design by Jill B.C. Du Boff.

Mala Hierba follows Liliana (Milans), the seemingly flawless trophy wife of a border magnate living in Texas, who is forced to decide between the value of obligation and the price of freedom. The play will have its New York premiere at Second Stage's uptown home at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre and will run from July 14-August 9, with an official opening on July 24.
