A Broadway revival of A.R. Gurney's two-character play Love Letters is in the works for the upcoming fall season, The New York Times reports. The production is expected to be directed by Gregory Mosher and produced by Nelle Nugent, Barbara Broccoli, and Frederick Zollo.

Producers are aiming to present the show at Lincoln Center Theater's Vivian Beaumont Theater, though the revival would be a commercial production renting the space. Love Letters, which was named a finalist for the 1990 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, follows the lifelong friendship of artist Melissa and politician Andrew over the course of 50 years through the letters they exchange. Previous productions have starred Jason Robards and Colleen Dewhurst, Elaine Stritch and Cliff Robertson, and John Rubenstein and Stockard Channing.

Among the actors in talks to appear in the revival is former Smash cast member and Academy Award winner Anjelica Huston. It would mark her first appearance on Broadway in 45 years.

No information about the production has been officially announced.
