A Chorus Line Comes Front and Center With Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Zachary Quinto, and More at Tonight's Public Theater Annual Gala

John Lithgow, Jonathan Groff, and others will join to make ”One Thrilling Combination” in honor of the late Marvin Hamlisch.

The Public Theater's annual gala event will take place tonight under the stars at the The Delacorte Theater in Central Park. The evening, titled One Thrilling Combination, will celebrate composer Marvin Hamlisch and the creation of A Chorus Line with a series of performances by special guests and Public Theater alumni.

Performers set to participate include John Lithgow, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Zachary Quinto, Billy Porter, Jonathan Groff, Joshua Bell, Lindsay Mendez, Claybourne Elder, Krysta Rodriguez, Marissa McGowan, Laura Shoop, Peter Dugan, Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Jessica Wu, Mylinda Hull, Brooke Sunny Moriber, Nicole Lewis, and more.

Directed by Ted Sperling, One Thrilling Combination will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Hamlisch, Edward Kleban, Nicholas Dante, and James Kirkwood's A Chorus Line, which originated at the Public Theater in 1975 before transferring to Broadway. The concert will also include other songs from Hamlisch's illustrious career. Renée Beaumont and Lizanne Rosenstein serve as gala cochairs.

Proceeds from the event will support The Public.
