The ensemble from Broadway's Beautiful — The Carole King Musical has won Actors' Equity Association's eighth annual ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity's Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA), the award is the only industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical.

The winners of the 2014 ACCA Award include the members of Beautiful's ensemble on its January 12 opening night: Ashley Blanchet, E. Clayton Cornelious, Josh Davis, Alysha Deslorieux, Kevin Duda, James Harkness, Carly Hughes, Sara King, Rebecca LaChance, Douglas Lyons, Chris Peluso, Gabrielle Reid, Arbender J. Robinson, Rashidra Scott, Sara Sheperd, and Melvin Tunstall. The award will be presented on Tuesday, June 17, during Equity's National Council meeting in New York.

Beautiful, which chronicles the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter Carole King, features a book by Douglas McGrath. The musical's songs are written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, and Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, including "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," "One Fine Day," "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," and more. The principal company is led by 2014 Tony winner Jessie Mueller in the title role, along with Jake Epstein, Anika Larsen, and Jarrod Spector.
