Tony Award Nominee Carolee Carmello Will Participate in Third Annual Night Of A Thousand Judys Pride Concert

Proceeds from the concert will go to the Ali Forney Center to aid homeless LGBT youth.

The Meeting, a monthly variety show hosted by Justin Sayre, will hold its third annual Pride concert entitled Night Of A Thousand Judys on Monday, June 17 at the Kaufman Center’s Merkin Concert Hall. Honoring the legendary career of singer/actress Judy Garland with songs and skits, the concert aims to raise money for the Ali Forney Center, the nation’s largest organization dedicated to helping homeless LGBT youth.

Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello (Scandalous) is scheduled to perform along with Martha Wash (“It’s Raining Men”), Madeleine Peyroux (platinum-selling vocalist), Tony Award nominee Justin Vivian Bond (Mx America), Lea DeLaria (The Caucasian Chalk Circle), Jaime Cepero (Smash), Tony Award nominee Christiane Noll (Chaplin), Telly Leung (Godspell), Karen Mason (Wonderland), Scott Matthew (Shortbus), Natalie Joy Johnson (Legally Blonde), Molly Pope (Village Voice “Best of NYC 2011”), Danielle Grabianowski (Sleep No More), and more yet to be announced.
