Aaron Tveit, Stephanie J. Block, and More Join the Roster of Presenters and Performers for The Recording Academy Honors Gala

The Broadway stars will help honor Les Miz creators Alain Boublil, Herbert Kretzmer, and Claude-Michel Schönberg.

Broadway stars will be on hand at The Recording Academy Honors to honor the Grammy Award-winning creators of the hit musical Les Misérables: Alain Boublil, Herbert Kretzmer, and Claude-Michel Schönberg. It will be held June 25 at 583 Park Avenue. Costars of the recent Academy Award-winning film adaptation, Aaron Tveit (Catch Me If You Can) and Samantha Barks, as well as 2013 Tony Award nominee Stephanie J. Block (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), have joined the list of the evening’s presenters and performers to help celebrate the achievements of these musical theater legends.

The gala, which will support the New York Chapter of the Recording Academy’s arts advocacy programs, also plans to honor husband-and-wife songwriting duo Ashford & Simpson, Grammy Award- winning violinist Joshua Bell, Grammy Award- winning artist Melissa Etheridge, and R&B singer/songwriter Trey Songz. The evening will feature additional appearances and performances by Grammy Award winners Michael Bolton, Kristian Bush, and David Caddick; Grammy Award nominee Joan Osborne; American Idol Music Director Ray Chew; singer-songwriters Peter Cincotti and Frankie Moreno; Island Def Jam Music Group President Steve Bartels; IMG Founder Charles Hamlen; and entertainment and media entrepreneur Kevin Liles.
