Classic Stage Company has awarded The Rosemarie Tichler Fund Grant to Nick Gehlfuss. The prize was established two years ago with the goal of assisting young actors who are transitioning from training into the professional world of acting.

The fund is meant to help with monetary costs of further training or to offset any acquired loans. Ultimately, the fund exists to increase awareness in the community to the needs of actors. The judges are Rosemarie Tichler, CSC Aristic Director Brian Kulick, CSC Casting Director James Calleri and John Turturro.

Gehlfuss recently starred in the company’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream production as Lysander. He received a B.F.A. in Theatre from Marietta College and a M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Missouri Kansas City. Nick has appeared on television in Army Wives, The Good Wife, Blue Bloods, and I Just Want My Pants Back.
