Signature Theatre Company celebrated the opening night of Kenneth Lonergan’s Medieval Play on Thurdsay, June 7 at the The Pershing Square Signature Center.

In the play, which Lonergan also directs, two French knights set out on a quest for moral redemption against the background of 14th century ecclesiastical politics.

The cast includes Anthony Arkin, Heather Burns, Tate Donovan, Halley Feiffer, Kevin Geer, Josh Hamilton, John Pankow and C.J. Wilson.

Guests at the performance included Beth Clancy, David Esbjornson, John Gallagher, Jr., Bill Heck, Jill Hennessy, Maggie Lacey, Eben Moss-Bacharach, Martha Plimpton, Peter Sarsgaard, and Laila Robins.

The creative team will include Walt Spangler (scenic design), Michael Krass (costume design), Jason Lyons (lighting design), David Van Tiegham (sound design) and J. David Brimmer (fight direction).
