Illusionist/endurance artist David Blaine and former talk show host Dick Cavett were among the guests at the Off-Broadway opening of Max Maven: Thinking in Person, at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex, on June 14. Alexander Marshall has directed the production.

In the show, Maven, a world famous mentalist and master magician, sets out to take the audience on a journey to explore some of the mysteries of the human mind and aims to challenge our assumptions of what we think we know with the mystery of what we can’t know. The production also features Melanie Crispin in the role of The Assistant.
