Nancy Anderson, Lucas Steele, Karen Ziemba to Celebrate Lyricist Jack Lechner at Birdland on June 25

Additional performers have been announced for the Broadway at Birdland concert series presentation of Here Goes Nothing, an evening devoted to the songs of lyricist Jack Lechner, on Monday, June 25 at 7pm.

Lechner won an Outer Critics Circle Award, the Jerry Bock Award, and a Jonathan Larson Grant for his work on the Off-Broadway musical The Kid, written with Andy Monroe and Michael Zam. As a producer, his credits include the film Blue Valentine and the television series Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys.

Featured in the concert are Jill Abramovitz, Nancy Anderson, Chris Critelli, Desmond Dutcher, Jeannine Frumess, Jose Llana, Andy Monroe, Jeremy Schonfeld, Lucas Steele, and Karen Ziemba. Boko Suzuki will serve as musical director.

Additionally, on July 9, Birdland will spotlight singer Colleen McHugh as she celebrates the release of her new album Prêt-à-Porter: Cole Porter’s French Connections.
