A Thick Description of Harry Smith (Volume I) is a ride through the life, work, and times of filmmaker, musicologist, painter, anthropologist, collector, occultist, and fabulist Harry Everett Smith.

The cast will feature Papaelias, along with Kate Ferber, Birgit Huppuch, Joe Jung, Sean Patrick Reilly, Chris Sullivan, and Joe Tippett.

The design team will include Daniel Kluger (sound design), Jessica Pabst (costume design), and Seth Reiser (sets and lighting design).
