Tony Award winner Idina Menzel and stage veteran Kristen Bell will lend their voices to Walt Disney Animation’s upcoming film Frozen, according to EW.com.

The film, set to open in November 2013, is being directed by Chris Buck and will feature original songs by Tony Award winner Robert Lopez and his wife, Drama Desk Award winner, Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

The movie, which is loosely based on The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen, features Bell as Anna, a young girl who ventures to find the Snow Queen (to be voiced by Menzel) and end the perpetual winter that has fallen over their mythical kingdom.

Menzel won the Tony for Wicked and her numerous stage credits include Rent and Aida. Bell’s stage credits include The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
