Ethan Lipton’s new comedy Red-Handed Otter will receive a production in September 2012 at the Cherry Lane Theatre as part of his tenure in Playwrights Realm’s new PAGE ONE program.

Lipton is the inaugural recipient of PAGE ONE, which guarantees a playwright a host of services, including a stipend, health insurance, script reading, office space, theater tickets, and a full Off-Broadway production, for one year. Red-Handed Otter will be directed by Mike Donahue.

Lipton’s work includes No Place to Go and Luther, both of which received recent productions.
