Erin Dilly to Fill In for Kelli O’Hara in Broadway’s Nice Work If You Can Get It

Erin Dilly will fill in for 2012 Tony Award nominee Kelli O’Hara as Billie Bendix in the Broadway production of the new musical Nice Work If You Can Get It, at the Imperial Theatre, July 15-29. O’Hara, who is taking the hiatus to star in the developmental workshop of Far From Heaven at Williamstown Theatre Festival, will return to Nice Work… on July 31.

Dilly received Tony and Outer Critics Circle Best Actress nominations for playing Truly Scrumptious in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, with Broadway credits also including Follies, The Boys from Syracuse and Into the Woods.

The musical features music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, with a book by Joe DiPietro, and direction and choreography by Kathleen Marshall.

Matthew Broderick stars in the musical, which features 2012 Tony Award winners Judy Kaye and Michael McGrath. The principal company also includes Terry Beaver, Robyn Hurder, Stanley Wayne Mathis, , Estelle Parsons, Jennifer Laura Thompson, and Chris Sullivan.

The cast also features Cameron Adams, Clyde Alves, Kaitlyn Davidson, Jason DePinto, Kimberly Faure, Robert Hartwell, Stephanie Martignetti, Barrett Martin, Michael X. Martin, Adam Perry, Jeffrey Schecter, Jennifer Smith, Joey Sorge, Samantha Sturm, Kristen Beth Williams and Candice Marie Woods.

The creative team includes scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Martin Pakledinaz, lighting design by Peter Kaczorowski, sound design by Brian Ronan and orchestrations by Bill Elliott. The music supervisor is David Chase and the music director Tom Murray.
